01WHY I'M RUNNING
They were asking for rent. Groceries. Childcare. A safe place to sleep. They wanted to keep their babies. They simply could not see how they would survive if they did.
For years, I worked alongside women and families in those impossible moments. They did not need another argument. They needed someone to show up. That work taught me that poverty does more than empty a bank account—it takes away choices and makes freedom feel theoretical.
America should make it easier, not harder, for people to do the right thing.

04Our Affordability Crisis Is Forcing Families to Leave Hawai'i
Too many families are doing everything right and still falling behind. Rent consumes the paycheck. Groceries cost more. Young adults postpone marriage and children. Local businesses fight to survive. People who love these islands wonder whether they can afford to stay.
When a family leaves, a classroom loses a student, a neighborhood loses a neighbor, a local business loses a customer, and an ʻohana loses a seat at the table.
People who work here should be able to live here—and those who grow up here should be able to build a life here.
05THE WORK
I am not asking voters to trust a résumé alone. I am asking them to examine the work, the lessons it taught me, and the responsibility I am prepared to carry.
01 · Nonprofit leadership
I co-founded and helped lead a national nonprofit dedicated to helping pregnant women in crisis. Building it required more than conviction—it required fundraising, operations, communications, technology, team leadership, and the discipline to keep showing up.
02 · Families first
The work brought me face to face with women making life-changing decisions under financial pressure. It taught me that compassion must become practical: rent paid, groceries delivered, transportation found, and a promise kept.
03 · Execution matters
I have managed teams, built organizations and technology, raised resources, solved operational problems, and learned that a mission succeeds only when ideals are translated into systems that work for real people.
04 · The Right to Keep
Years of direct service led me to develop the Right to Keep: a public commitment that no woman who wants to keep her child should be pushed toward abortion because she cannot afford to live.
05 · Public service
I stepped away from nonprofit governance so I could pursue public policy without creating a conflict for the organization I helped build. This campaign is the next chapter of the same work: protecting dignity and expanding real opportunity.
06WHAT I WILL FIGHT FOR
These are not slogans. They are the tests I will bring to every vote, every negotiation, and every decision in Congress.
People who work here should be able to live here.
A future people can afford
I will fight for federal housing and infrastructure partnerships that expand opportunity without erasing community; challenge rules and policies that unnecessarily inflate everyday costs; and make tax policy work for working families rather than only the best-connected interests.
No mother should be pushed toward abortion by poverty.
Life supported in practice
I oppose abortion. I also believe being pro-life must mean more than telling a frightened woman what she should not do. It must mean standing beside her and making it possible to keep the child she already loves—with practical support surrounding pregnancy, birth, housing, healthcare, childcare, work, and family stability.
Hawaiʻi should own more of the future it creates.
Opportunity built locally
I will fight to reduce needless federal barriers, improve access to opportunity and capital, strengthen trades and technology, support local agriculture and responsible tourism, and help small businesses compete without being crushed by bureaucracy or extracted by distant institutions.
What we inherit, we have a duty to protect.
Stewardship for generations
Clean water, healthy land, reliable infrastructure, local food capacity, and responsible energy policy are essential to Hawaiʻi's future. Federal decisions should be transparent, long-term, and accountable to the communities most directly affected.
Public office is a responsibility, not a reward.
Service before party
I will work with either party when it helps Hawaiʻi and stand against either party when it does not. My office will be accessible, technologically competent, transparent, and relentlessly focused on constituent service. No party leader or political institution should come before the people who sent me.
07INDEPENDENT ON PURPOSE
Washington has enough people who know how to follow a party line. Hawaiʻi needs a representative who knows how to listen.
I will work with anyone when it helps the people of this district. I will stand against anyone when it does not.
Independence is not the absence of conviction. It is the freedom to put people before party, truth before convenience, and conscience before career.
